As we all know, Malaclypse the Younger, Mal 2, Omnibenevolent Polyfather of Virginity in Gold, is the High Priest of the Paratheo-Anametamystikhood of Eris Esoteric (POEE). Well, it is said.

But a closer look at those acronyms Mal2 and POEE will uncover a new truth!

Ever questioned why POEE has four characters? Mal2 knew well the Law of Five. Andlet's be honest: Paratheo-Anametamystikhood of Eris Esoteric is a strange name, even for a Discordian cabal.
Mal2, as an acronym, has five characters when rewritten as MalII, or maybeit's just the 3-2 thing.

Let Mal2 be a function of POEE (well, he is -isn't he?)!
Mal2 can thus be defined as function:

Mal2 = take the second letter of my name

So, it will add an A to the patiens of the function. Now we can make the acronym POEE into a name following the Law of Five:

Mal2(POEE)=POEEA

Which, of course, is Poe E.A., Edgar Allan Poe. He does make more sense than Paratheo-Anametamystikhood of Eris Esoteric.

So, Poe must have been a former High Priest of the cabal, later known as POEE.
