Mars - Protests over Probe Landings and Colonisation Plans![]() 'Mars for Martians' Protesters at probe landing site, yesterday. The Martians today, rallied against colonisation by way of a protest near a recent US Mars-probe's landing site. The Martians accuse U.S. President, George W. Bush of bombarding their planet with mindless Tele-visual broadcasts and feel that since the last years of the 20th century, Earth has upped the ante in it's bid to mind-rot the Martian people into submission. Martians cite the plethora of mind destroying reality shows emanating from Earth since President Bush came to power as proof of his underhand tactics. "We cannot stand by and watch as out brains are melted by these destructive broadcasts." Said Bulon'Frope.5 (472) a young 'Mars for Martians' protester. "Earth has also spied on us for many years and showered us with these dangerous falling probes." Said another. When pressed on the matter of colonisation, President Bush said "They will have to move, we need breathing room." He was asked if he understood the significance of what he'd just said, but Mr. Bush refused to comment furher. Martian leaders have threatened reprisals and have shifted their economy to that of a nation in a state of war. They were dismissed by Mr. Bush; "The chances of any threat coming from Mars are a million to one," he said. Martian leaders were unavailable for comment and remained in closed session with the military heads of the Martian war machine. Mars Correspondent - Rev. St. Syn, KSC
